There has been some discussion lately about a couple of topics on the BoroLAN Party Forums. Since I realized people are still checking it occasionally, and it’s there to use, I decided to try to bring it back to life. If you are reading this and do not have an account you need to contact me, Rogue, Eagle, or JonathanZ. There are some basic requirements for membership that we’ll inform you of.

I just posted a problem I’m having when playing Supreme Commander. I’m hoping this will help stimulate some activity and maybe promote some discussion, even if it’s not all on my question. This post on my website is just to let everyone who hasn’t been to BoroLAN in a long time there is activity again.

When I installed Wordpress on my website in December of 2005, I sat there looking at the options page wondering what a good tagline would be. I couldn’t really think of anything, so I put “a website about nothing . . .” It seemed to fit well enough, but it’s a couple years old now and a little less fresh. I need a new one. Since I decided to get a new one and posted a comment to that effect in New Job, here is the challenge.

Post your suggestions in a comment, and see if you can pen the tagline that gets the best response. That is the one that I will use on the website. I reserve the right to have final decision on which tagline to use, since this is my website. I won’t use a degrading or vulgar phrase. Keep them clean.

I’ve had two great weekends in a row. The previous weekend I posted about already, but I’ll recap. I went out on Kenny’s boat all day Friday then played paintball all day Saturday. This weekend I was invited to join Chris J. on his friends boat. They have a really nice Mastercraft ski boat. That boat is amazing. We did a bunch of wake boarding, and Chris did some skiing on the way back to the dock.

It turns out wake boarding is challenging, in getting out of the water. I had never attempted before, and have yet to stand up on the thing. It got to the point where I just couldn’t hold onto the handle anymore. It just kept getting pulled out of my hands. I came close to getting stood up on the board a couple of times before I had no grip left to try. Maybe next time I’ll be able to stand up. They told me it takes time to get it, and you just have to keep trying. I’m determined to get it if I’m invited back out with them.

On another note, I find that when I post about something political I get a huge response in comments. The Global Warming post has  thirty four comments at the time I’m writing this one. I wonder if it is the political content that caused such a reaction, or if maybe Stacey evoked the huge spike in comments, or maybe Stacey is the huge spike in comments. Either way be careful if you view her website. It is pink.
