It’s hard to believe, but we have done 27 shows now. I keep saying that one of these days we’ll get good at it. We’re getting a lot of requests now, but we’re going to keep podcasting anyway.

Tonight we talked about a variety of things. It was a very random show with no real direction. We touched on the Bush speach about putting the Guard on the border. We even discussed the whole teacher student sex thing that’s been getting a lot of press lately. We then wrapped it up by talking about all of the phone companies giving all the call information to the NSA. This is probably one of our funniest and least politically correct shows. That was difficult to pull off after last weeks show. Last week we think we made every racial group mad and most religions, but we left out women, completely as an oversight. We made up for that tonight.

Podcast
The podcast went really well. We covered the topic we had planned on talking about last week. We discussed the whole Immigration thing. The funny thing about the Illegals, is they don’t appreciate what they have here. They have jobs, homes, and money like they could never have where they came from, and yet they march in the streets demanding more. It is very frustrating to watch as they fly flags of various South American countries over our soil. Then they wonder why the American people are getting angry about it. Wonders never cease.

We made two great comercials for next weeks show. I am very happy with them. If you want to hear them, you’ll just have to download next weeks show.

Stuff
Today was a lot better than yesterday, although it did start earlier than it had to. I got to bed late last night after helping with all the stuff. I set my alarm and I did sleep like I thought. I was dead to the world in no time flat. The alarm goes off this morning and I hit the snooze a few times. I’m sitting there on the edge of the bed reading something for a little bit.

I look up a little later and I read the clock as saying it is 7:35, and I’m not even out of bed, dressed or anything. I get up, throw on some clothes, and check the weather real quick. I head out. I get on the bike and remember I’m out of gas, so I have to stop and Wal-Mart to get gas. I know that I’m out of some stuff at work. I need to go inside to get a few things, but I don’t because I don’t have time. I look at my phone to see what time it is and I swear I read 7:55. I’m supposed to be at work at 8:00, and this Wal-Mart is 12 minutes from the shop.

I get to the shop at 15 after. I walk in thinking I’m late and feeling really bad about it. Marilyn looks at me with an odd look and says, “This is an odd time for you to show up.” Feeling bad about being late I reply, “I’m sorry, I overslept.” Now confused she says, “You’re 45 minutes early.” I look at the clock and now realize it does not say 8:15, but it says 7:15. I have no idea how this happened, but I was very relieved. I’m so glad I was not late.

There has been a construction project going on in the house. I am happy that it is almost done. Construction is almost never pleasant and always dirty. The kitchen stuff all got moved to the other side of the wall. It makes a lot more room in my area, and this serves to allow access to the kitchen stuff to other people that are going to be in the house without allowing them access to my living area. I never really use it much anyway, and I get a lot more space in here, so it works out for everyone involved.

Tomarrow is the second day for running. I am kind of looking forward to it and kind of not. I am looking forward to being in better physical condition, but I am definitly not looking forward to being sore again like I was today. I’ll post about it in the morning as well as adding my time to my running chart.

I was sitting at McDonalds when Kenny called me. He told me the podcast is canceled. He is one of the youth pastors at our church, and all of the pastors take turns being on call for emergencies. This is his week to be on call. A family member of one of our church members had a heart attack while driving. Their car ran off the road into the ditch. It flipped and landed upside down. They were there two and a half hours untill they were found. They were life flighted to Nashville and are not expected to survive. If they had been found sooner they might have had a better chance.

The Illegal Immigrant Protest topic has been postponed. We might talk about it next week. I will post an update as soon as I know anything new. Untill then lets hope that this person is either able to pull through, or that they are not experiencing any pain in their final moments.
