We played paintball today and Eighteen people showed up. It was all around a pretty cool day of running around in the woods. We played a couple of games where one team tried to take a fortified position from the other team. Both times the attackers won. After that we wanted some capture the flag type of game play. We played with a center flag. Each team was trying to take the flag from the center of the field to the opposing teams starting point. I feel good about the day. My team won more than it lost, and I had a couple of really cool moments. I also died a couple of times for really stupid reasons. I guess that’s how you learn. You figure out not to do that again. I am looking forward to the next time.
I said it was paintball without the Rogue because he could not make it today. Due to a miscommunication or misunderstanding he had a conflicting event today. Hopefully he’ll be at the next game. It’s not a complete day of paintball if I don’t get to shoot him.
Well, the paintball event went very well. We had a lot of people show up and everybody had a great time. I lot of missions were accomplished. I lot of missions were thwarted. A lot of people died, and we all have some more great war stories to tell.
I am short on sleep, and I’m very tired, so I am going to bed now. I will post in comments a couple of stories later when I am more awake and have more time. Anybody who was at the event is more than welcome to post their own stories. Tell us about that cool thing you did.
