Random Thoughts
I was at Church last night. The class I go to is for men to help one another through sharing their story. I’ve heard a lot of amazing stories about how people I know have overcome very difficult circumstances. I had no idea the backgrounds some of my friends have come from. In almost every story told I hear a common theme. Every man that has shared his story has shared regret for past decisions or mistakes. Almost every man reached a point when they gave up trying to help themselves and were finally willing to completely turn it over to God. Only once they had resigned to the fact they couldn’t fix themselves did they really turn to God.
I know some younger people who have not gone through this yet. I find myself wanting to help them avoid this pain, regret, and shame. Then I ask myself, Will they ever truly seek God without being totally delivered by the Grace of God? Will they ever really understand the importance of the sacrifice Jesus made for use without that experience? To be perfectly honest, I don’t know.

Paintball
We played paintball today and Eighteen people showed up. It was all around a pretty cool day of running around in the woods. We played a couple of games where one team tried to take a fortified position from the other team. Both times the attackers won. After that we wanted some capture the flag type of game play. We played with a center flag. Each team was trying to take the flag from the center of the field to the opposing teams starting point. I feel good about the day. My team won more than it lost, and I had a couple of really cool moments. I also died a couple of times for really stupid reasons. I guess that’s how you learn. You figure out not to do that again. I am looking forward to the next time.
I said it was paintball without the Rogue because he could not make it today. Due to a miscommunication or misunderstanding he had a conflicting event today. Hopefully he’ll be at the next game. It’s not a complete day of paintball if I don’t get to shoot him.

The Judgment opened today. I thought it went really well. There are some technical bugs to work out, but I though it was a good start. I’m sure a lot of the stuff we noticed tonight will be resolved for the showing tomorrow.
It was very exciting to watch the reactions of the other people in the audience. I watched as people cringed, laughed, and cried. It was amazing to see how some of the issues touched on in The Judgment really affected people. You could see how certain parts really hit home with people.
The great news always come in the end. It was so amazing to watch as 27 people got saved tonight. That is truly amazing news. God does amazing things.
Click here for more information. It’s a free show, and it can change your life.
