I guy that I work with gave me a computer this morning. It’s nicer than the one I currently have, although that doesn’t really say much. I just formatted it and installed my copy of Windows XP Pro on it. Thanks Doug.

It’s not a lot of computer, but it’s a lot better than what I’ve been using. It will suit me for the time being. I am writing this post with it now. It is a lot faster at everything even though it’s running an OS that requires more RAM. I’ll drop some more RAM in it sometime. I think I have some spare RAM laying around that will fit it.

It’s so exciting that I get to make this post. I am very happy to know that we have some land to start playing on again, and we have some dates set for games in the not so distant future. I guess that means I need to dig out my stuff and start getting it cleaned up and ready to go again.

I hope I’m not giving anything away that Kenny doesn’t want released yet, but I don’t think so. He called me yesterday afternoon and asked me if I was still willing to go against him as General in our next scenario game. I had agreed to go against him before we had to stop playing for a while. I said that I am still willing and would be looking forward to it. He said the theme for our next scenario is “Brink of War”. He has some interesting concepts for the style of game it will be.

Kenny is a great leader, so I know this will be very challenging. I have a lot of planning, a lot of work, and a lot of recruiting to do. I need to recruit my command staff first and foremost. After that we can sit down and formulate exactly what we will be doing on the field. I feel that what I did in the last scenario was effective, but I have the minor setback that Kenny watched me do all of it, and will likely be expecting much of the same. I’ll have to figure out how to change it up, make it fresh, and adjust it to counter Kenny’s leadership style.

Like I was saying, this is going to be very challenging. It’s also going to be just about the most fun I’ve had in months. I don’t know about anyone else, but I am really excited about this.

I am transferring my website and a couple others, again. This one should go a lot smoother. This means a couple of websites that have so far been down will also be coming back. For those of you that miss borolanparty.com, it will be back soon. I will be sure to post to that effect once it has been restored. Thank you all for your patience.
