Taekwondo
I got through my entire call list tonight. I’ve either spoken to or left a message with everyone that I have a phone number for. Most everyone I talked to was happy to hear from me. They were interested in what I was doing. I only had a few that either said they had gone with Stephens Family Martial Arts or were not interested at all. I am optimistic that I will have a good turn out on the first day.
I think I’ve just about put everything in place that I need to get started. I’ve called everyone. I’ve created the waivers and other papers I need filled out by the students. I have a full pricing schedule laid out. I have a website that I am starting to build for it. I have a location to hold the classes. Now all I need is for the students to show up.
There really isn’t much there yet, but I guess you can go look at the website if you want to. I haven’t even picked a theme yet. I plan to use that website for most of my communication with the students while not in class. It will be the place for the latest news about the school.

Personal
I’m going into my last week at Liberty Upholestry. It’s exciting and a little scary at the same time. I’ve been there a long time. I’ve gone out and done other things in the past and ended up going back. I’m determined that I will not fall back into Liberty again. For good or ill I will make the best of the Taekwondo school. Wish me luck, here I go.

Random Thoughts
This is just something my dad sent me. I thought I would share it.
The new supermarket near our house has an automatic water mister to keep the produce fresh. Just before it goes on, you hear the sound of distant thunder and the smell of fresh rain.
When you approach the milk cases, you hear cows mooing and witness the scent of fresh hay.
When you approach the egg case, you hear hens cluck and cackle and the air is filled with the pleasing aroma of bacon and eggs frying.
The veggie department features the smell of fresh buttered corn.
I don’t buy toilet paper there any more.
