I didn’t have time until now to post about this. The Firebird is now gone. The gentleman that purchased it from me brought a truck and trailer with some friends to pick it up yesterday. He paid me the remaining balance and I signed over the title to him. He seemed very excited to have purchased it. I have mixed emotions about having let it go. I’m sure I did what I needed to, and now I’m closer than ever to having a car that runs, and will pass emissions, with good gas mileage, and look good as well.
A while back I noticed my i-Pod earbuds had developed a rattle in the bass on the left side. I started looking around for good replacement. I read about a bunch of differant ear bud designs. I ended up deciding that I wanted the Bose® in-ear headphones. I got some Christmas money and I decided to use it on these.
After having them for about two hours now, I love them. They are amazing. I am still playing with the three sizes of the gels. I’m trying to find the right fit. I have no doubt I’ll find the right one. It’ll just take some time to play with them some more.
The sound quality is incredible. The instrument clarity is far superior to any ear bud I’ve ever used to date. The vocals are clear. The bass is deep and full. They are simply the best ear buds I’ve ever listened to. The only headphones I’ve heard sound better are the Sennheiser PC150 headset I got a year or so ago. The Sennheiser may sound better, but they are a full sized over the ear headphone, and they don’t sound better by much. I highly recommend the Bose TriPort IE headphones.
I have just submitted my new theme PolarParadox with themes.wordpress.net. I’m not sure how long it will take them to approve it, or if it’s already available. With any luck it will be posted for people to start looking at real soon.
I decided I had enough of the bugs worked out to submit it to them. Some day, if I decided to I’ll make a version two with a bunch of new cool stuff. For now I think I want to make another one. It was a lot of fun.
