On September 19th, 2006 I posted this blog about someone stealing my debit card number and charging $500.00 to ePassporte.com. I said that I would post any updates, and I now have one.

I got a call from the Detective with the Rutherford County Sherriffs Office yesterday. He wanted to let me know that they got the information back from ePassporte.com about the servers logs. They have an IP address that traces to Massachusetts. Since that is out of state the Rutherford County Sherriffs Office does not have jurisdiction there. I will have to contact the police in that area and talk to them about it. I am also going to see if I can get the IP address from the Detective here. If I can find out who the ISP is that owns that IP address I can report it to them. I’m sure something in this is against their terms of use agreement. Maybe I can at least get the persons internet access turned off.

I don’t know about anyone else, but I had a great time at the LAN Party. I didn’t have as many people show as I would have liked, but it was an ok turnout. I think we had ten people here at one point. We played several of the games that were listed as possibles, but didn’t get around to playing F.E.A.R. There was death, dismemberment, and mayhem for all.

If you didn’t make it to this one, make sure you’re at the next one.

Chris suggested that I post some pictures of the 1935 Chevrolet that I took for him. I thought it was a good idea so here they are. Chris got to drive this for a wedding a few weeks ago which is how we got access to it. He drove the bride and groom from the ceremony to the reception. I can’t think of a better way to get there in a car. I’ve seen the couple at a wedding get carried to the reception in a horse drawn carriage. That’s probably the only way to out do this.
