I am posting this from a fresh Vista install. I put a spare hard drive in my computer so I could play around with the latest offering from Microsoft. So far I like it. I havn’t had time to really play with it yet, but it is better than the last release they had. There is a lot of eye candy that really works well. The trade off is the huge amount of system memory and proc that it swallows up.
It occupies roughly 500MB of memory on boot. It’s a good thing I have a gig of ram in this box. It really does need it. I can’t wait to see how it runs on a newer machine with a 64bit proc and double the ram I have. I will post more later as I get to play with it more.
At Wednesday Night Live we played a movie we made the night before the youth went to Fine Arts. This years movie was a spoof from the movie Gone in 60 Seconds. We had a lot of fun making it, and I though it turned out really well. It featured two of the Junior High youth as the main characters stealing the cars. It was very funny to watch two twelve year olds stealing cars, Alex and Brad.
Hopefully we’ll make a DVD out of it. I would love to have a copy. It got a great reaction from the group. It got a good round of applause. Well, I’m off to bed. If there’s a DVD made available I’ll post more about it later.
