I stopped at the pet store today to get some mice to feed my snake. While I was there I talked to a couple that were there to get suggestions on how to catch a pet rat that got loose. They mentioned haveing a snake and wondered if the mice I was getting were for my snake. I described him, then said, do you want another one. The guys brother is looking for one so I got their number. I came home and totaled up everything I have for the snake and came up with a price.
I have to give Kudos to the greatest cook this side of Heaven. A while back I was invited to attend a meeting at the church to talk about some church stuff, and food was provided by Ms. Rita Grisham. When she invited me to attend she asked for suggestions for what to eat. Two of my suggestions were Stroganoff and Goulash.
At the meeting we had some of the best Stroganoff I have ever eaten. It was fantastic. It’s a fairly simple dish, I know because I can make it, but she really made it special.
As I type this post I am eating some Goulash made by her, and wow. This stuff is amazing. It’s second day reheated Goulash that is absolutely amazing. I added some cheese to it and now it’s that much better.
Thank you Ms. Rita. You’re amazing.
This could also have been titled “Stupid Liberals and War”, but I felt that was a little too redundant.
I heard this on the radio today. This lady had obviously seen way to many made for TV movies about war protesters. In these movies they go out link arms sing songs of love and keep the big bad tanks from blowing stuff up. The evil war mongers realize they are not being good little boys and see the compassion of these war protesters and decide to stop all war. Everyone lives happily ever after and the people that made the evil tank drivers stop get medals pinned on them.
Well, this lady had the bright idea of trying to get an Israeli tank to stop by laying in the road in front of it, because this would abviously make the tank stop. They would not want to hurt anyone. The tank proceded to carry out it’s mission with no heed to the woman laying in front of it. Now we have one less war protester.
I don’t know what she was thinking, but that stuff doesn’t work in real life. They have a mission to carry out. Their buddies are being shot at. They don’t have time to stop and ask a stupid moron to kindly get out of the way. It is war so people die. Not all of the people that die are members of a military force as she must have realized as the tank was inches from her body, and not slowing down. I can’t help but wonder what was going through her mind, other than her stomach.
