I am off to Jamaica now. I am about to carry all of my luggage out to the car. This may be my last post untill I get back. Kenny said there is not internet access at the hotel we’ll be staying at. I may or may not get to post while I am there. If I can I will.

I just got done packing. It’s almost 11pm the night before we leave, and all I have left to pack is the battery to my camera, and the iPod. The iPod is charging on my computer, and the battery to the camera is plugged into the wall.
I presume that they will be done and ready to go by morning. I have a very early start ahead of me. I have to be at the church no later than 6am. Kenny wants to leave the church no later than 6:15am.
I am about to double check everything in my luggage to see if I missed something, and then I am going to bed. I’m sure that my 5am alarm will come way to soon.

Well, it seems odd to post that this time tomorrow I will be on my way to a foreign country. It’s hard to believe that I’m really going. It may not really sink in untill I get off of the plane in Jamaica and see the non US standards. I will be the first to admit that I am spoiled. I enjoy the fruits of the greatest country on the planet and I know it.
I feel fortunate to be able to go help a small school over there. It feels good to know that what little I can do is going to help kids in need.
This is exciting.
